Jeremy McConnell announces girlfriend is pregnant before swiftly deleting post

Jeremy McConnell has announced that the solicitor who represented him in court when he was sent to jail is pregnant with his second child – before swiftly deleting the Instagram announcement.

The shamed reality star, who is staging his comeback 18 months after he was jailed for skipping community service handed to him for beating his ex-girlfriend Stephanie Davis, claimed girlfriend Katie McCreath was expecting.

“Delighted to say Me and @legalblondieeeee are expecting so overwhelmed,” he wrote on his Story.

But two hours later, Jeremy pulled a U-turn by insisting he and Katie aren’t having a baby.

Jeremy’s pal shared this fake pregnancy announcement to his Instagram

Jeremy issued a denial – then deleted it

“Sorry guys….. no exciting news today! When boys think they are funny and someone’s brother gets hold of their Instagram,” he wrote next to a row of laughing-crying emojis.

“But we will be having 3 baby foals next year so not far off in our house. So thanks for the kind messages!”

However, the denial message has since been deleted, while the original announcement is still up on his Instagram.

Katie has since confirmed to Mirror Online that they are not expecting a baby.

Jeremy has been keeping a low profile of late, having trashed his reputation by physically and emotionally abusing Hollyoaks actress Steph during their turbulent relationship.

He says he’s given up the drugs and most of the booze

But he’s ready to step back into the limelight and says he’s given up the cocaine that turned him into a raging monster.

Jeremy, who is still banned from contacting Stephanie by the terms of his restraining order, says he’s spent the last few months drying out and getting sober, even dropping four stone by overhauling his fitness regime.

“I’ve made stupid mistakes and I regret the person I was. He was an idiot,” he told the Sun today.

“But I have to give myself credit for getting myself out of that. It’s the only thing – along with support from my loved ones – that keeps me going.

Jeremy says cocaine is ‘the devil’

He’s found love with the solicitor who defended him in court

“Now I don’t deal with toxic people. I don’t deal with toxic energy. I don’t deal with bulls**t. I don’t deal with lies. I’ve walked away from that.”

Jeremy now says he “radiates happiness” and vows not to make the same mistakes again.

“Cocaine destroys lives. It rots your brain, your mind, the way you think,” he added.

“Cocaine takes anything that’s important to you away. It’s not cool, it leads you down a slippery path – it’s the devil.”
