Jeremy Kyle spent Christmas Day with his long-time friend and former Jeremy Kyle Show co-star Graham Stainer.

The television presenter enjoyed the festivities with the ex ITV show’s head counsellor, just seven months after the broadcaster confirmed that the programme would be permanently cancelled following the suspected suicide of guest Steve Dymond.

Indulging in the celebrations, Jeremy was seen carving up a roast turkey in one picture, while another snap showed him smiling for a photo next to his 10-year-old son Henry and good pal Graham.

The host dressed up for the occasion too and wore a crisp shirt with grey trousers, meanwhile Graham rocked a black shirt and jeans.

Fans were delighted to see the duo back together again and shared well wishes in the comments.

‘Merry Christmas to you all. Miss you guys on TV,’ wrote one.

Echoing a similar sentiment, another posted: ‘Happy Christmas to you all, miss you and the programme so, so much. Life just isn’t the same without it.’

Back in October, ITV said it will not bring back the now-cancelled Jeremy Kyle Show or ‘any other show resembling its format’.

‘ITV cancelled The Jeremy Kyle Show in May,’ a spokesperson told Metro.co.uk. ‘We have since made clear that we will not bring back the Jeremy Kyle Show, or any other show resembling its format.’

Five months prior, the broadcaster confirmed the show’s axe.

Carolyn McCall, ITV’s CEO, announced: ‘Given the gravity of recent events we have decided to end production of The Jeremy Kyle Show.

‘The Jeremy Kyle Show has had a loyal audience and has been made by a dedicated production team for 14 years, but now is the right time for the show to end.

‘Everyone at ITV’s thoughts and sympathies are with the family and friends of Steve Dymond.’
