‘IT’S DISGRACEFUL’

The man laid into the leftie boss saying: “I heard you talk about free speech and standing up for human rights.

“I have two young daughters and what terrifies me is some of the Labour MPs, some of the female MPs, and the misogyny that has happened in the Labour Party.

“They have been driven out of the party. I look at a video on YouTube of Ruth Smeeth particularly, because and I am willing to give you the benefit of the doubt in terms of maybe people aren’t doing it in your name.

“But I look at a video of Ruth Smeeth online where she was in a press conference with you and Ruth Smeeth, a Jewish MP, was heckled out of the press conference and there you are at the end of the press conference chatting happily to that same heckler.

“I don’t buy this whole nice old grandpa. I see that video and that tells me all I need to know and I am terrified for my daughters because I see what you did in that video.

“I don’t understand how you can say you stand up for human rights and free speech when that is how you support a Labour MP at a Labour press conference.

“I think that is disgraceful.”

Smeeth resigned in June 2016 in protest of Mr Corbyn’s leadership.

Mr Corbyn replied: “Bad behaviour including misogyny is absolutely not acceptable.”

The same audience member quipped back: “Why did you speak to that same heckler? Why do female MPs have to have bodyguards?”

The Labour leader defended his actions saying: “You don’t know what was discussed in that conversation.”

Mr Corbyn was forced to clarify his position on if he would campaign for Remain or Leave, after dodging the question NINE times during Tuesday night’s debate.

He was met with a roar of laughter as he failed to answer Daniel Holt’s question again.

Mr Corbyn said: “My strategy is to bring people together 1) we will negotiate 2)we will put that alongside remain in a referendum to put back to the people.

“My role as the Prime Minister is to adopt a neutral stance.”

Host Fiona Bruce asked him again at the end of his grilling if he really will remain neutral on Brexit.

Unashamedly, he responded: “Yes, yes. You heard it here first on Question Time.”

It comes as Mr Corbyn’s fantasy spending plans have been slammed as “not credible” by an economics expert who says they will hit ordinary Brits in the pocket.

The Labour boss plans to pay for his Marxist vision of 1970s-style renationalisation by raising £82.9bn with a series of 12 tax hikes.

But Paul Johnson, director of independent think-tank the Institute for Fiscal Studies, said it was “simply not credible” for Labour to raise the sum by slapping a tough tax on businesses and Britain’s highest earners.

He told ITV: “You cannot raise that kind of money in our tax system without affecting individuals.”

Mr Johnson was stunned by Labour’s radical spending plan.

Ahead of the debate, he said: “It’s impossible to overstate just how extraordinary this manifesto in terms of the sheer scale of money being spent and raised through the tax system”.

CORBYN’S 12 TAX BOMBSHELLS

1. Corporation tax – Companies will now be made to pay a 26 per cent duty
2. Unitary tax of multinational companies – Labour believe this will stop large firms transferring their cash out of the UK to countries with low income-tax rates.
3. Second homes tax – Corbyn hopes this will help with the homelessness crisis in Britain by charging people with a second property a tax that can go into building new council houses.
4. Transaction tax – Corbyn wants people to pay a higher duty on paperless transactions like buying shares in a UK company.
5. Reverse of inheritance tax cuts – This means that Brits could now pay more on the estate of a loved one when they die.
6. VAT on private schools – Corbyn has vowed to “close the tax loopholes” enjoyed by private schools and use that money to “improve the lives of all children”.
7. Windfall tax on oil companies – Labour will enforce a tax on fuel giants who have “knowingly damaged our climate” to “help cover the costs”.
8. Income tax for those earning over £80k and £125k – Corbyn has vowed to wage a class war on the country’s wealthy
9. Capital Gains tax – Brits will now be taxed more on profit when they sell an asset that has increased in value.
10. Dividends tax – Those who have shares in companies will now be forced to pay a higher duty on the payments they receive.
11. Scrap Married Person’s Allowance – Brits will no longer benefit from the tax cut which reduced your bill between by between £345 and £891.50 a year.
12. New Fair Tax Programme – Corbyn has vowed to “go after the tax dodgers” with a new tax avoidance scheme.
