JBL is launching a brand-new wireless gaming headset this month called the Quantum 350, which has compatibility for both console and PC gaming.
The headset joins the Quantum line-up, which was the company’s first step into gaming headphones, launched at CES last year.
The Quantum 350 uses a lossless 2.4G wireless connection via a USB dongle, with 40mm drivers with surround sound for more immersive audio during gameplay. The headset comes in a matt black PU leather finish, along with memory foam ear-cushions.
In addition, there’s a detachable boom microphone which is Discord-certified – though it can also be used with software such as Skype and TeamSpeak. For further sound customisation on PC, the headset works with the JBL QuantumENGINE software.
If you’re into your long gaming sessions, then never fear. JBL states that the Quantum 350 has a battery life of 22 hours, whilst a five-minute charge via a USB-C cable will give around one hour’s worth of use.
The gaming headset is launching alongside the JBL Flip 6 Bluetooth speaker, and several true wireless earbuds as JBL launches the products that would normally arrive as part of the IFA trade show this time of year.
You’ll be able to get your hands on the JBL 350 wireless gaming headset later on this month for £89.99/US$99.95. You can also take a look at our picks of the best gaming headsets, as well as the best budget gaming headphones.
