Jason Momoa is sailing back into action as Aquaman once again in the sequel to his 2018 blockbuster based on the DC Comics character.

Along with the new film the actor is getting a brand new wardrobe, showing off how it looks on him in an Instagram post on Sunday.

His new super suit mimics fish scales like his green and gold garb from the first film, but in night mode in shades of blue-black and silver.

It also has a fishbone style utility belt, sturdy shoulder pads, knee high silver boots and even moulded abs on the torso. No rubber nipples though like the old Batman suit.

The Game Of Thrones star took a heroic stance in the official picture, posing against a sandy and rocky landscape with his long locks blowing in the wind and a stare that meant business.

Jason also posted a new photo of himself in the classic Aquaman outfit proudly holding his gold trident.

He wrote in the picture caption: ‘Second round. New suit. More action. #aquaman Aloha j.’

Jason plays the underwater superhero, who is also part of the Justice League with the likes of Batman and Wonder Woman.

Director James Wan is also hard atw ork on an Aquaman spin off The Trench, based on the vicious, deadly creatures who attacked AM and his love interest Mera (Amber Heard) in the first film.

However this outing will veer on the side of a horror movie (unsurprisingly – did you see those things?).

Giving fans an update on the upcoming instalment in his world of DC delving, the director told ComicBook.com: ‘We, you know, we’re still deep in sort of crafting the script, crafting the story right now so I don’t want to get into that too much, but definitely it’s one that I really want to lean into the horror of it.’

He continued: ‘So it’s going to play more as a monster horror movie then it will as a superhero film, but it’s still definitely part of the Aquaman world.’

Brace yourselves.
