Jason Manford found it hilarious that Deliveroo thought he and his family were a business after a big food order.

The comedian took to Instagram to share an e-mail he received from the food delivery service telling him to upgrade to a business account in order to save money.

‘That moment @Deliveroo think you’ve ordered for a whole company but actually it was just you and your 6 kids 😂 🥘 🍱 🍔 🍛 🍕 🍗,’ he captioned the post.

The e-mail began with Deliveroo saying they used their ‘Sherlock-esque detective powers’ to see that Jason used a company e-mail address to place the order.

‘Was this order for a team at work?’ it read. ‘If you didn’t know, we have a popular business service that adds convenience, up to 15% cost savings and better service to our amazing selection of restaurants to make your staff happier and more productive.

‘It’s super easy to discuss and free to upgrade to, would you be interested?’

When Jason makes a big order, he gets offered an upgrade. But when we make a huge order, we just feel the regret of eating too much food.

Jason shares four children with his ex-wife Catherine, two 11-year-old twin daughters, a nine-year-old daughter, and an eight-year-old son.

He also shares two children with his current wife Lucy Dyke – who he married in 2017.

His hilarious post comes after he reassured fans that he will ‘see them right’ if they can’t get refunds from his tour.

The stand-up star is preparing to go on his Like Me tour in January 2021, but told fans to hold onto their tickets if the coronavirus restrictions mean the closing down of venues in their cities.

‘A notice to people who have tickets to my ‘Like Me’ tour dates at venues which are being forced to shut due to the pandemic,’ Jason told his followers on Instagram.

‘If you can’t get a refund please retain ticket for a future show. I’ll sort details in New Year. We’ll get through this together.’
