Karl Stefanovic is said to have splashed out a whopping $10,000 last month to fly his son Jackson to London for Father’s Day, in a bid to mend their alleged rift.
And Karl’s new wife Jasmine Yarbrough was seen dropping Jackson off at Sydney Airport’s International terminal at the end of August, as he prepared to board a flight to the UK.
On the day, Jasmine, 35, went makeup free and cut a casual figure as she helped Jackson check in and get ready for his flight.

According to Woman’s Day, the trip was to coincide with his Jackson’s 20th birthday and Father’s Day, and Jasmine was said to be travelling with the pair, despite her going home after dropping Jackson at the airport.
The move comes after it was widely rumoured that the former Today show host’s relationship with Jackson became ‘estranged’ after the TV star’s bitter divorce from his ex-wife Cassandra Thorburn.

The insider said Karl has especially been determined to make things better with his eldest child Jackson.
‘It’s been heartbreaking for everyone. Karl would love to rebuild his relationship and that’s what this trip is all about,’ the ‘source’ allegedly told the publication.
Despite standing by his dad by flying to Los Cabos for his Mexican wedding in December, Jackson did not attend the ceremony.

In an interview with Woman’s Day published in March, the university student chose his words very carefully when asked about his father.
‘What’s done is done,’ he said when quizzed about Karl’s decision to leave Cassandra in 2016 after 21 years of marriage. ‘Despite what happened, he’s still my dad. I’ll leave it there for now – who knows what happens next.’
Last month Karl admitted to Nine Entertainment: ‘I’ve tried over the last 12 months to two years to be a better person and to try and be easier to live with and to try and make life easier for those around me and it’s a motto I continue to live by.’
The TV host went public with his engagement to Jasmine, 34, in February 2018 and married at an extravagant wedding in Mexico in December that year.
