Jasmine Harman: A Place In The Sun presenter details ‘heartbreaking’ family outing

Jasmine Harman enjoyed some time off from A Place In The Sun over the weekend when she visited The Retreat Animal Rescue in Kent. However, the presenter, who has fronted the Channel 4 show since its inception in 2004, revealed a “heartbreaking” incident to her 21,000 Instagram followers. The 43-year-old said she’d had a “fantastic afternoon” but one newborn lamb left her feeling emotional. She uploaded a snap of herself with the animal, which saw her dressed casually in a khaki jacket and dark-rimmed spectacles.

Jasmine wrote: “I had the most fantastic afternoon today visiting @theretreat.animalsanctuary in Kent with my family.”

She continued: “Highly recommend as a day out for animal lovers! What a privilege to meet such wonderful humans and animals, like this baby girl Sally; a newborn lamb (still has her umbilical cord) who has no mama to look after her.”

Detailing what happened, the small screen favourite stated: “She began trying to suckle my chin, and whilst this was very sweet, it was also heartbreaking.

“She is a lucky girl to have Billy and all the other wonderful volunteers to look after her and the other animals.”

Jasmine then added: “The retreat cafe was fantastic, and we had a truly brilliant day out. There is no entrance fee but of course you can donate or spend at the cafe and shop.

“We’ll be back (A LOT I suspect!) #animallover #animallovers #familyfun #sanctuary #animalsanctuary #vegan #veganfortheanimals #newborn #lamb.”

She received a number of comments, with one user telling her: “I’m definitely adding this place to my list!”

Two others wrote: “Awww beautiful. The lamb’s cute as well,” and: “Thank you for coming down.”

It is thought Jasmine attended with her two children: Joy, five, and three-year-old Albion.

However, it seems her husband and cameraman Jon Boast is currently away, following her recent update on the picture-sharing app.

A Place In The Sun presenter Jasmine Harman told her husband “I miss you” with an unearthed snap.

She shared a photo of them looking cosy, taken “way back” in 2005.

The mother-of-two, who wed her spouse four years later, was seen resting her head on his in the throwback, as they also posed in a desert-like location with Nanni Campos.

Jasmine wrote: “#throwbackthursday Two of my absolutely favourite people in the entire world @jboasty_dop @nanni_72 waaaaay back in 2005 when we were young and carefree!”(sic)

Wearing her brunette tresses in a low ponytail, the star looked stunning in a pink halterneck top.

A Place In The Sun airs weekdays at 3pm on Channel 4.
