Janette Manrara questions Strictly's Giovanni Pernice's relationship status amid break-up

Janette Manrara, 37, was joined by Giovanni Pernice, 31, and his dance partner Rose Ayling-Ellis, 26 on the Strictly Come Dancing spin-off show It Takes Two tonight. The BBC presenter questioned the professional dancer on his relationship status.

The Miami-born performer was curious to know where Giovanni stood with his partner Rose after the pair “broke up” during last week’s performance.

Strictly fans watched in awe on Saturday night as EastEnders star Rose and the Italian performer spoke to each other via sign language.

In the emotionally-charged routine, viewers were left captivated by the pair’s stunning routine.

Janette has since quizzed the pair on whether they planned to reconcile.

“The class of 21 has some amazing and determined dancers. I admire them all. But for me this year the stand out couple are Rose and Giovanni. There is a magic between them that I can’t put my finger on. He is choreographing beautifully #stunning,” @judiroodi penned.

Elizabeth Scott remarked: “My winners! I love these two. Rose is amazing and Giovanni is so damn hot! Wish I could dance with him.”

Giovanni and Rose are gearing up for this week’s Halloween episode where they will take to the floor with a sexy Tango to Ed Sheeran’s new track, Shivers.

Meanwhile, the Strictly pro recently spoke out about his split from Love Island star Maura Higgins, saying “there was absolutely no wrongdoing”.

Taking to Instagram, Giovanni insisted that sometimes “great relationships with great people can come to a natural end” which is what happened with him and Maura.
