Janet Jackson touches down in New York ahead of her highly anticipated The Tonight Show appearance
Janet Jackson was just living it up in London at private members club Annabel’s with a slew of female pals.
And now the 53-year-old superstar has touched down in New York to live it up with late night host Jimmy Fallon when she takes the stage for Monday’s episode of The Tonight Show.
Jackson made her way through JFK airport solo on Saturday morning, looking cozy in an oversize puffer coat and a noticeably fresh face.

Jackson embodied the title of her Las Vegas residency Metamorphosis as she opted for comfort over couture for her air travel ensemble.
Her coat nearly consumed her entire 5foot4inch frame as she swiftly made her way through the busy airport terminal on foot.
She rounded out her look with a pair of loose fitting black sweatpants and a pair of chunky black and white fashion sneakers.
Her brunette tresses were styled in an array of tightly woven locs, which pulled her hair out of her face, giving shutterbugs a view of her youthful appearance.

The singer donned a pair of black geek-chic glasses that coincided with the black designer backpack slung over her shoulder.

The post, shared to her 4million followers, included an up close and personal portrait of Janet donning a bedazzled leather glove and dramatic lime green facial mesh.

Though there isn’t much information surrounding the context of Jackson’s appearance, days prior to the announcement the triple threat urged fans to ‘stay tuned’ this year for new content.
Over the summer, Jackson performed during a successful Las Vegas residency at Park MGM from May of 2019 to the end of August.
The Made For Now vocalist was recently spotted attending the Clive Davis pre-Grammy Gala in Los Angeles at the end of January.
She stood onstage with Davis as they honored rapper and producer Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs during the ceremony.
