JAMIE VARDY was denied a goal in his ninth consecutive game as Norwich keeper Tim Krul took the unwanted spoils.

The Leicester striker set the record for goals scored in consecutive games in the 2015-16 season as he hit the next 11 matches on the spin.

And the Foxes forward looked to be closing in on his own record as he headed in an equaliser against Norwich at the King Power Stadium.

But the strike deflected off the palms of keeper Krul, meaning the Dutchman took the goal off Vardy’s hands.
