Bafta season is upon us, which means celebs can’t resist giving us their best James Bond in a suave tuxedo.

James Norton, we’re looking at you.

And it’s made all the more intriguing by those rumours about him potentially taking on the 007 role after Daniel Craig’s exit.

Is he giving us a sneaky hint? He might just making sure he looks his best for the event, but we can dream.

The Happy Valley actor looked completely suave as he posed at the Dunhill and Dylan Jones Pre BAFTA dinner, alongside the likes of Great Expectations’ Jeremy Irvine and Fleabag’s Andrew Scott.

The Tudors actress Joely Richardson looked absolutely stunning in a floor-length red gown, while Cressida Bonas, who recently starred in true crime series White House Farm, rocked a black sequinned number.

Reggie Yates looked like a natural as he posed away, rocking a blue jacket for the event.

James has been surrounded by rumours about him potentially playing James Bond after Daniel Craig’s exit as the iconic spy following the upcoming movie No Time To Die.

It’s claimed that James has been liaising with 007 producers and is a front-runner to replace Daniel when his tenure comes to an end. And it certainly wouldn’t be a bad choice to make.

A source told The Sun: ‘Numerous meetings and secret squirrel script readings were had at the back end of last year. ‘James has always been in the frame but until four months ago, there were no concrete moves.’

The insider claimed that James ‘ticks all the boxes’ for the casting team as he’s ‘tall, strapping, physically fit and, of course, looks great in a dinner jacket’.

Well, that’s definitely been proven.

After a reportedly successful run of meetings, James is said to have ‘celebrated’ with friends over New Year’s, despite the fact that a decision is yet to be made.

‘Everyone is hoping to get the deal confirmed and signed off, with an announcement in the summer,’ the source added.

We’ll have our Martinis at the ready.
