James Martin admits to struggling with ‘many lows’ as he addresses ‘losing a great friend’

“Surprising the Fuller family by cooking them dinner for no reason other than I wanted to, setting up a online marketplace to help suppliers through and past this mess, putting The Kitchen on the food map and pushing the Saturday show to now millions of viewers a week from near nothing.”

After reflecting on his achievements, James added: “Lows, and there have been many, but losing a great friend Michel Roux Snr will leave me weaker and stronger, his wisdom and words will ring through 2021, with a stronger, more focused mindset I’ll push forward and be better in everything I do, no compromising.

“Thank you all for your support over the years and let’s make 2021 a damn sight better than 2020 was.

“All the best, stay safe everyone and Happy New Year,” he concluded.
