James Jordan: ‘Don’t blame me’ Strictly star defends himself in Michelle Visage spat

James Jordan wasn’t a fan of Michelle Visage’s Vogue performance on Saturday night’s Strictly Come Dancing and slammed it as “ridiculous”. When the show was airing, the former professional dancer on the programme gave his verdict on Michelle and Giovanni’s Couple’s Choice dance.

During her VT, Michelle became emotional as she addressed what Voguing means to her.

James opined on Twitter: “FAKE TEARS!!!! Boring!!!!”

He followed it up with: “Michelle Not for me, sorry…. not dancing just posing.

“#Score 5 Obviously needs the LGBTQIA community’s vote after being in the dance off.”

Fans of Michelle brought James’ comments to her attention with one telling her the latter said: “His comments last night about you only doing it to get LGBTQ+ votes caused me to unfollow the has been.”

Michelle responded: “Omg did he?!!! That’s deplorable. Gross.”

After being told he had said she was fake crying, the RuPaul Drag Race star said: “Wowwwww.”

Following the results show, where the judges voted for Michelle to leave the competition, James said: “I actually believed that Michelle was a real contender and had some great performances. I was really starting to love their partnership.

“Thank you,” Michelle replied. “Change is how we move forward, that doesn’t have to mean betteror even worse, it means it’s necessary at times for progression. For me, this was one of those times…”(sic)

However, things soon changed when Michelle told the Dancing on Ice 2019 winner to tag her if he’s talking about her.

She wrote: “Also James, you should @ people when you talk about them! That’s all.”

James told his followers he’s being “trolled” by the Strictly star for his “honest opinion”.
