James Charles has claimed that the last week has been ‘the darkest time I have ever had to go through’ after Tati Westbrook called him out for manipulating people’s sexuality.

Revealing that he has considered suicide, he said: ‘Everything that happened really really hurt, and I wouldn’t wish what happened on my worst enemy.

‘The last few weeks of my life have been the most painful time I have ever had to deal with, and my head and brain for a hot minute went to a place so dark I didn’t think I would come back, and that… I can’t believe I just admitted that on camera.

‘People always say being a social media influencer is an easy job… but I don’t think any human being ever is prepared to deal with the pain and anxiety of what it feels like for millions of people to be talking to you at one time.’

In the 41-minute video he refuted Tati’s claims that he had tried to manipulate a straight man into bed insisting that the man in question – a 19-year-old waiter called Sam from Seattle – had told him he was bisexual and that it was clear that their date had no expectations.

He also called out Zara Larsson for tweeting that he had been harassing her boyfriend – she later deleted her claims and admitted it was one DM – and spoke of Tati and her husband attempting to reach out to talk to James via a mediator.

Called No More Lies, James attempted to break down the past week of videos and allegations, which began when Tati had claimed that James ‘tried to trick a straight man into thinking he’s gay, yet again – and somehow you’re the victim?’

‘You know it’s really disgusting to manipulate someone’s sexuality, especially when they are still emerging into adulthood and don’t have everything figured out,’ she said.

‘The past week on the internet has been the darkest I think we’ve all ever seen, it’s been the darkest time I have ever had to go through, and my thoughts went to a scary place,’ said James.

‘It’s clear Tati is also in a dark place and has been pained by the situation… she has a huge heart and I do believe her when she said she didn’t want it to get this vile,’ he added, ‘no one wants this as over as much as I do.’

He then went on to claim that he is a ’19-year-old virgin… I don’t really get a lot of action and I would never and have never used my fame to manipulate and get any sexual actions from a guy’.

He also claimed that the entire evening was consensual, as revealed by Sam in his own YouTube video.

He said he ‘took full responsibility’ for sliding into the DMs of men he found attractive, and alleged that if he was told his comments were unwelcome he always backed off.

‘Through all of this, I learned if I could get through this, I can get through anything,’ he concluded.

In response to Tati’s first video James shared his own eight-minute video and apologised for his behaviour.

Since, Tati has urged her fans to reign in the hatred for James in a new video, saying: ‘I do really want the hate to stop I want the picking sides and the abusive memes and the language and all of that I really hope on both sides it can stop. That’s not why I made the video.’

She added: ‘I don’t hate James Charles. I don’t want you guys hating on him.

‘I cant even go online right now, it’s painful to watch someone that you have cared about be dragged and to know that this all started because of me. And I don’t think anyone deserves that.’
