James Bond is known for his suits, gadgets and vast collection of flashy cars, and in the upcoming film No Time To Die, a pricey Land Rover gets put through its paces ahead of it appearance in the next Bond flick.

An advert for the impressive vehicle, retailing at $102,000 (£78,000), shows the Land Rover Defender 110 speeding through whatever latest car chase 007 is about to find himself in next.

In the impressive clip the car races across an uneven field, hounded by motorcycles.

It then winds up racing through water, proving it can tackle any kind of terrain – especially if you’re a super spy and you need to get away in a hurry.

To ramp up the action, a helicopter hovers overhead as the car pushes on, ending up flipping over a few times as the advert reaches its climax.

The Defender ends up muddy, battered and bruised, but still cool as hell; much like Bond himself when a hard day’s work is done.

A voice over says in the clip: ‘Introducing the new Land Rover Defender. It has an iconic shape that never fails to make an impact.

‘Made for adventure, the Defender will stay composed whatever the day throws at you.

‘And if you venture off the beaten track, it remains assured no matter the circumstances.

‘Designed with purpose and tough enough to take on any unexpected surprises. The Defender is as at home on the road as it is off.’

When the car comes to a stand still, a director’s voice says: ‘Great, let’s go again’ reminding us that this is just a film after all.

No Time To Die, out in April 2020, will see Daniel Craig play the British spy one last time.
