James Bond is a British institution: a suave, sophisticated spy who catches bad guys while getting the girls. One of the most exciting aspects of his MI6 work is the travel, as he heads to gorgeous locations all over the world to save the world. With the No Time to Die trailer boasting some incredible scenery, where was the movie filmed and where is it set?
Where are the filming locations for No Time to Die?
Filming for No Time to Die, known previously as Bond 25, took place predominately in Pinewood Studios.
However, a great number of places were used for the outside shots, with countries such as Jamaica, Italy, Norway and the UK featuring heavily.
The film opens with Bond having retired to Jamaica, with filming taking place in Port Antonio, Jamaica.

While it seems likely these moments are in flashback, viewers discover he and his partner Madeleine Swann have been together for some time.
These scenes were filmed through the streets of Matera, Italy, with Daniel Craig and Lea Seydoux filming many shots in the streets as well as inside production-built sets.
Further sequences took place in Maratea and Gravina in Puglia, making Italy another key location for the movie.
Some scenes were also shot in Sapri in Southern Italy, such as the train station and the town’s “midnight canal,” though the city name changed to Civita Lucana for the film.
Moving from far colder climes, Bond’s main villain, Safin (Rami Malek) is spotted around a frozen lake, and production images show what looks like a scene featuring a young Madeleine Swann on the ice.
Filming of this took place in Nittedal, Norway, to capture a truly icy tundra, while the Atlantic Ocean Road was used to film a driving sequence.
Finally, London was a key sequence in the film, as Bond’s return to MI6 meant he had to return to the city to see M (Ralph Fiennes) and his faithful secretary, Moneypenny (Naomie Harris.)
For this, filming took place in Whitehall and Hammersmith, and more filming took place in Ascot, a little further out of the city.
Further filming took place in the Cairngorms National Park in Scotland, as well as at the Ardverikie House Estate by Loch Laggan, meaning the UK was a key feature of the film.

Fans know from the trailer the villain of the piece lives in an icy tundra, however where that is supposed to be is unclear, despite having been shot in Norway, and potentially parts of Scotland.
The final scene of Spectre also shows Bond and Madeleine Swann driving off for pastures new, so the idea of them settling in Italy is certainly not unlikely.
However, as is always the way with Bond, fans will be clearer on the events of the film and the locations once more details are released, and ultimately when the film comes out.
