James Bond 25 title LEAKS for Daniel Craig’s final 007 movie? No, it’s NOT Shatterhand

Principal photography on James Bond 25 is set to begin next month and we still don’t have a title or cast announcement. The working title on Daniel Craig’s fifth and final 007 outing is Shatterhand, however, producer Barbara Broccoli has confirmed this is not the title on Bond 25. Nevertheless, a new working title has emerged that could very well be the true title for Bond 25. Spotted by MI6 HQ, Breakdown Artist Beth Herd has “Eclipse” as the name of a movie she’s working on, as found in her profile on Mandy.com – a job website for the creative industry.

Eclipse is listed next to B25 Productions, for which her role for this and next year is as a Textile Artist.

The entry has since been removed, but a cached page still exists here.

So is Eclipse the true title of Bond 25 or just another working title?

It certainly could be, seeing how Bondy it sounds, not to mention how it follows the minimalist one-word titles of Skyfall and Spectre.

Although, 2010’s third Twilight movie was called Eclipse, so perhaps it’s too close to be called that.

This month Daily Star reports it was former Bond 25 director, Danny Boyle, who wanted Bond to die, while back in August The Sun said it was Craig and Broccoli who were in favour.

There were also unconfirmed rumours last year of Bond 25 being similar to Hugh Jackman’s Logan.

The final Wolverine outing saw the tired and rundown superhero in one final adventure before fatally bowing out in the film’s final scene. Will Bond 25 actually go there? Fans will have to wait and see.

Bond 25 is set for release in UK cinemas on April 3, 2020.
