Strictly Come Dancing stars James Jordan and Ola Jordan revealed the sex of their baby, after previously slamming the idea of raising their child gender neutral.

In an exclusive interview with HELLO!, the former professional dancers excitedly announced they’re having a girl.

During a (somewhat cheesy) gender reveal party, the couple opened a present and a pink balloon emerged.

They then held up a pair of tiny pink slippers to the camera as James gushed: ‘Now we know it’s a little girl, it just feels very real now.’

‘This is going to be our world,’ he added.

Ola then chimed in: ‘I’m gonna cry! A little girl is the best thing that’s going to happen to James. He’s not going to let her go.’

He weirdly added: ‘I’m going to be wrapped around her little finger, but she will be locked up until she’s at least 32.’

The pair then laughed, as they celebrated confining their baby to outdated gender roles before it’s even born.

The announcement comes off the back of the couple declaring they refuse to raise their child gender-neutral.

James previously told Celebrity Secrets: ‘In my opinion, it’s ridiculous!’

‘For us, it’s going to be either a boy or a girl,’ Ola explained, to which James responded that it’s ‘a scientific fact’.

This means that the couple will be leaving gender-specific gifts under the tree at Christmas like Barbies if it’s a girl and fire trucks if it’s a boy.

Ola added: ‘Don’t get me wrong, if we have a boy and he wants to be a girl when he’s older, then that’s fine,’ with James adding: ‘That’s his choice – it’s not our decision.’

The couple insisted on having ‘blue for a boy and pink for a girl’ to match their ‘fairly traditional’ home life.

Sounds constricting to us, tbh.

Their baby is due in March.
