Jake Paul and Tana Mongeau have thrown it right back for Halloween with their take on Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake’s iconic double denim look.

2001 was a wild time.

The YouTubers, who tied the knot back in August at a flashy Las Vegas wedding, channeled the pop legends as they revealed their outfits on Instagram.

While Tana adapted Britney’s floor-length look to a denim mini dress and thigh-high boots, Jake stayed true to JT’s baggy jeans, jacket, and hat look.

Clearly over the moon with how the looks turned out, Tana cheered as she said: ‘I’m so proud of Jake, he’s so miserable, he hates Halloween, he’s sober but we did it!’

What a time to be alive.

Playing Britney’s Oops I Did It Again and Justin’s SexyBack (what else?) in the car on the way to the bash, the pair giggled away as they enjoyed the look.

It’s not the first time Tana’s channeled Britney, after she rocked up to the MTV VMAs earlier this year with a live snake wrapped around her neck. As you do.

Taking to the red carpet, the 21-year-old rocked thigh-high boots and a snake-print dress as she wrapped the reptile around her.

However, not everyone was a fan, with some branding it animal cruelty.

Fans and critics alike came together to point out it wasn’t right that she was using a live animal as an accessory, with many angered that she would even be compared to the Toxic singer.

And Tana’s Halloween costume last year didn’t fare much better after she defended her ‘sexualised’ JoJo Siwa look.

People were less than impressed by her take on the costume, which saw her scantily clad in just a bra, thong, tutu and fish-net tights.

Many criticised her for sexualising the 16-year-old, who usually dresses in tshirts and hoodies, with her trademark side ponytail.

Defending the costume, Tana wrote: ‘Saw some tweets about my Jojo costume and I just wanna clarify before things get crazy- Jojo is a great friend of mine & I would never intend to sexualize HER, I literally think that anything like that is gross as fuck.

‘It was just like a slutty schoolgirl costume, girl scout, or cheerleader to me,’ she continued.

‘I totally didn’t see it that way and would never want to! I LOVE Jojo and making crazy halloween costumes and she was telling me to do it! just wanted to let u know my standpoint on that before I see anything else.’
