During Saturday’s night live show, Jacqui and Anton failed to impress judges; Motsi Mabuse, Craig Revel Horwood and Shirley Ballas with their samba routine and found themselves at the bottom of the leaderboard.
They had to perform their Latin number – to Help Yourself by Tom Jones – for a second time in the Results show, which aired last night.
The judges ultimately chose to put Jamie and his partner Karen Hauer through to the next round of the competition.
When asked by Strictly host Tess Daly if he had any words for Jacqui, Anton said: “Well I’ve loved every second of being in the studio with you. We have laughed, you have a shocking sense of humour I can’t begin to tell you. You are just the best and I’ve loved it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
