Jacqueline Jossa threatened to quit I’m A Celebrity after hearing more rumours about her husband Dan Osborne inside the jungle camp.
In an unusual move, the former EastEnders star was permitted to leave voice messages for her husband after speaking to camp mates over his alleged infidelity.
Viewers last night will have noticed a subdued reaction from the actor when she received her care package and a message from home.
But the reason for this is that she had threatened to quit a few days ago – and the Mirror understand she only agreed to stay after receiving assurances from Dan.
The call home – an unprecedented move – came after the I’m A Celebrity star threatened to quit last week.
She became upset after speaking to Rak-Su singer Myles Stephenson, 28, who said he believed Jacqueline’s husband Dan cheated on her with his ex-girlfriend Gabby Allen .

In scenes not aired by ITV, Jacqueline, 27, then said she did not want to continue without talking to Dan.
Show bosses allowed her to temporarily exit the Australian jungle to leave Dan, 28, a voice message about the claims.
And ex-TOWIE star Dan was then allowed to send a voicemail back.
ITV have so far declined to comment on the decision, but it is highly unusual for a contestant to give or receive calls from outside the jungle.
A TV source told the Mirror: “Something like this is only done as a last resort. Jacqueline could have walked if something wasn’t done and this felt like the best option as there was no direct contact with the outside world and it put her mind at ease to continue.
“It happened last week but judging from Jacqueline’s reaction when she got her care package, it is still on her mind.”

Jacqueline and Dan have had an on-off relationship and separated several times.
At one point Dan and ex-Love Island star Gabby, 27, were pictured cosying up on a yacht in Spain last year.
Jacqueline was pregnant at the time and the couple had a temporary break with Dan moving out of the family home.
But Dan has always maintained he has never cheated on Jacqueline and lashed out furiously on Twitter about “always getting the stick”.
