Jacqueline Jossa has teased that she could make a surprise appearance on Towie, following her successful stint on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here.

The EastEnders favourite hinted that we could soon be seeing her popping up in Essex with her family.

During an Instagram live session, the 27-year-old told fans: ‘I could be on Towie soon – me and Dan are gonna come back.’

The soap star – who shares children Mia and Ella with the 28-year-old – explained that this isn’t the first time she has flirted with the idea of popping up on the ITVBe show.

In fact, she confessed that she had been asked by bosses before.

‘They did actually ask us a while ago, but I was on EastEnders so I couldn’t but I was like, “Oh my God, imagine me on Towie.”’

We honestly wouldn’t mind this.

However, you might need to pause getting the bunting out as she admitted she ‘didn’t know’ if she’d actually take part on the show when questioned by Bobby Norris (aka her potential new cast member).

Dan made a name for himself on the reality show back in 2013, and lived his life out in front of the cameras for two years.

His time on Towie came to an abrupt end when he was dropped by bosses after his foul-mouthed rant against ex-girlfriend Megan Tomlin – whom he shares son Teddy with – emerged.

Jacqueline came to fame thanks to her stint on EastEnders, playing Lauren Branning on the BBC series.

She graced our screens for eight years, before departing Walford in 2018.

And the mum-of-two shed light on her time on the show, admitting there were times she would ‘torture’ herself by hunting down vicious troll comments.

‘They called me the new fat Lauren, there were Facebook groups and all sorts about,’ she told new! magazine.

‘I was literally Googling my name every single day or writing “Lauren Branning fat” or “new Lauren Branning”.

‘It was always negative and I would just be obsessed with reading forums and negative things about me.’

Thankfully, Jac has since found herself more able to shake off hateful posts about the role which made her a household name.
