Jacqueline Jossa has shut down rumours that she’s set to appear on Celebrity X Factor this year, but has hinted she could be taking to the stage at some point soon.
The former EastEnders star, who recently opened her own arts academy, had been rumoured to appear on Simon Cowell’s latest project – a celeb version of the beloved singing contest.
However, the 26-year-old was quick to shut down any claims about an appearance on any reality shows – including I’m A Celebrity – reasoning: ‘I haven’t got time for all that.’
Fair play, girl.
‘If I could, I would, but I haven’t got time for it,’ she added to Metro.co.uk as she stepped out for the launch of the Sure’s Everyday Gym.
‘I’ve got the academy [which] literally just opened up this week – I haven’t got time for anything else.’
However, we could be set to see Jacqueline make a new home for herself in the theatre world.
‘I want to do something completely different, maybe not telly, maybe something different like theatre,’ she explained.
Nevertheless, with her old co-stars thriving on EastEnders at the moment, the Lauren Branning actress proved she’s definitely not forgotten her roots.
‘I haven’t really been watching but I keep up with [the cast] socially and online so I’ve seen the massive storylines this week,’ Jacqueline pointed out.
‘I’m really glad that Tilly [Keeper]’s getting something. She’s amazing, a brilliant actress.’
The mum-of-two recently reunited with her former co-star Ricky Norwood (Fatboy) as she opened her new academy, also being supported by her husband Dan Osbourne.
The Jac Jossa Academy is a performing arts school in Bexleyheath that runs acting, singing and drama classes, as well as dance classes and self-confidence workshops.
Meanwhile, she and husband Dan were recently spotted looking loved-up as they headed for a date night.
The pair – who share daughters Ella and Mia – held hands and laughed as they left the exclusive event at Opium London, enjoying a well-earned night off from parental duties.
Definitely sounds like she earned some time off.
