Jacqueline Jossa, 27, was crowned Queen of the jungle 2019 as I’m A Celebrity came to an end on Sunday night. She she beat her fellow soap star Andy Whyment, 38, to victory, as Roman Kemp, 26, also missed out on the title, taking home third place.

During her exit interview with hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly, the EastEnders actress was stunned that she was crowned winner.

Speaking on her time in the jungle she admitted: “I can’t believe I’ve done all that stuff.”

She candidly said that the show had been a “turning point” for her and that it’s made her a “different person”.

“I feel like I’ve gone in there was one person and come out as a different person,” she said.

One viewers applauded: “Well done Jac , you deserved to be Queen. Was rooting for you from the beginning. You will have 2 proud girls waiting for you.”

Her co-star, Tilly Keeper who plays Lauren Mitchell on the BBC soap also shared her love and congratulations: “Couldn’t be prouder of my ‘big sis’ @jacquelineMjos. you’ve shown everyone what a brave, funny, strong woman you are! Always a queen, but now she’s Queen of The Jungle! #ImACeleb.”

Emily Atack, newcomer to the ITV spin-off show Extra Camp, was given the honour of crowning her the champion before she left the jungle for the final time, making her way down the bridge to be reunited with her loved ones.

The 27-year-old tackled more than she could imagine doing her three week stint in the Australian wilderness and said she was constantly surprising herself with how far she could push her mind and body to do the “horrific” trials.

Fellow finalist, Andy was runner-up in the 2019 series, and won the hearts of viewers when he joined the show, all guns blazing in the cowboy showdown.

The Corrie actor had fans sobbing when he became emotional as he spoke about surviving each public vote and making it into Sunday’s final.

Speaking to the Bush Telegraph he said: “I can’t believe it and I’m getting emotional I’m so chuffed, it’s just nice to know that people are voting for me, the person I am, it means a lot.”

The public had to choose between two great contenders, but the Queen has been chosen!

And now, we bid goodbye to the jungle series.

Until next year!
