Jackie O's bizarre complaint about living in a waterside mansion… and other first world problems

Talk about first world problems! Radio star Jackie ‘O’ Henderson makes bizarre ‘complaints’ about living in a beachside mansion and driving a Range Rover

It seems Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson may be a little out of touch with the lives of everyday Australians.

The KIIS FM radio hosts, who are reportedly paid more than $4million per year, revealed their ‘first world problems’ in a cringeworthy segment on Thursday.

Jackie, 44, raised eyebrows by admitting the worst thing about living in a beachside mansion is that the waves sometimes keep her awake at night.

‘You know how I live [by] the ocean? At night I like to open a window, let in some breeze but the waves are too loud,’ Jackie said. ‘They keep me awake!’

‘It must be devastating!’ replied Kyle.

Jackie also complained that she doesn’t like having to drive around in a cheaper car  when her Range Rover is getting serviced.

She moaned that her replacement car ‘[doesn’t] have the little speedometer digital thing on the windscreen’, which means she has to look down to check her speed.

Kyle, 48, also had several ‘first-world’ problems of his own to complain about, including the cheap brand of milk in the KIIS FM fridge.

He said: ‘We had a big stink here at the radio station because they kept putting Homebrand milk in our free coffees upstairs. And I was like, “Why do we have to drink this soot?!”‘

‘I want A2 Milk. … we can’t be guzzling Homebrand s**t!’

KIIS FM listeners then phoned in with their own first world problems, with one man complaining how he had to hold the button to push the automatic windows down on his car, instead of just touching the button once.

‘We haven’t got all this extra spare time!’ replied Kyle, sympathising with the listener’s plight.

Meanwhile, a woman moaned that the top hat she wears during her dressage horse riding competitions is ‘a little bit too tight’ sometimes.

It's a tough life being rich! It seems Kyle and Jackie may be a little out of touch with the lives of everyday Australians

Kyle also revealed that his Bentley, which costs around $400,000, has a sat-nav system that only speaks in a ‘posh English accent’.

‘I was on the phone yesterday and it said, “Pardon?” he whinged, adding that he doesn’t know how to change the settings.

The Kyle and Jackie O Show airs weekdays from 6am on KIIS 106.5 in Sydney
