The little-known phobia, known as pendulaphobia, means she is unable to push her daughter on the swings at their local park.

She explained: ‘I can’t watch her swing. I have this fear of swinging objects. Like I can’t look at them, it makes me have butterflies in my tummy.

‘So boxing bags, a ceiling fan, when someone knocks into a chandelier and it starts swinging… I almost want to throw up. I don’t know why.’

Jackie added that ‘it’s not the fear of the falling’ that upsets her, ‘it’s just the uneasiness of looking at something swing.’

The KIIS FM radio presenter shares her daughter, eight-year-old Kitty, with her ex-husband Lee Henderson.

Jackie and Lee, who married in December 2003, separated last year.

This week, Jackie also revealed that she lied to Kitty to prevent her from leaking spoilers about her new show, The Masked Singer.

She confessed to telling her daughter she would be ‘sent to jail’ if the little girl told friends at school which celebrities were behind the masks.

The Kyle and Jackie O Show airs weekdays from 6am on KIIS 106.5 in Sydney
