Jack Whitehall girlfriend: Brits host admits he’s looking for love on a dating app

Jack Whitehall, 31, is due to host the Brit Awards in London tonight. But he will not have a loved one by his side as it is reported he has made an account on an exclusive “celebrity” dating app, which requires all newcomers to be referred by an existing member.

The comedian has been single since his split from actress Gemma Chan in 2017, whom he dated for six years.

Since the split with Chan he has been romantically linked to Kate Beckinsale, Paris Hilton, Kirsty Gallagher and Dua Lipa.

But now the Travels with My Father actor is searching for love on the exclusive dating app Raya.

Raya is known as the celebrity dating app for the rich and famous.

Jack said: “Now, I’ve got to make an effort again, you’ve got to, you know, put a shift in the bedroom, I don’t like doing that

“I am very unadventurous in the bedroom. People go, ‘Ooh, Jack what do you like in the bedroom?’ Just quick and quiet. Like I’m hiding from the Nazis.”

He added: “I hold my hand up, I let the spark go. The sex wasn’t great, that’s my fault. I’m not good at sex.

“I’m too British for the whole thing. Sex with me is like arriving late at the theatre and trying to find your seat.

“A lot of shuffling and then from somewhere in the dark a whisper: ‘I’m sorry’.”

On Raya, an algorithm and an anonymous global committee of 500 people determines members based on their application, which requires referrals.

To win over the committee, you need to stand out as a creative, be known for or be an expert in something and share a common bond with the Raya community, according to Raya’s website.

The website also outlines that to be accepted, the committee looks “for that hard to describe ‘something extra’ — NASA scientists, cancer researchers, poets, painters” the website reads.

Only eighth percent of applicants are approved, and there are 100,000 people on the waiting list to get into Raya’s community of 10,000 members, reported Roose.

Raya founder Daniel Gendelman told The New York Times that you do not need to be an attractive Instagram star and flaunting wealth is a “red flag”.

Instead, the dating app aims to “curate digital dinner parties” full of interesting and passionate people.
