Jack Fincham has liked a tweet hinting he had a ‘lucky escape’ just hours after pictures of ex Dani Dyer kissing ‘new boyfriend’ Sammy Kimmence emerged.

The couple – dubbed Jani – announced their split at the beginning of the month, nearly a year after they met on Love Island.

But it seems that, despite insisting he would ‘always care a lot’ for Danny Dyer’s daughter and he ‘wished her nothing but happiness’, the 27-year-old isn’t too thrilled about her new relationship.

In fact, taking to Twitter, the pen salesman liked a tweet from a fan who claimed he had a ‘lucky escape’ from the 22-year-old.

The fan in question shared a screenshot after Dani had blocked her from the social media platform, and fumed: ‘Loved being blocked by Dani for pointing out the obviously. All I can say is @Jack_CharlesF you got a lucky escape (sic).’

Ouch.

The tweet comes after Dani appeared to have moved on from Jack, by kissing up a storm with Sammy – whom she reportedly dated before heading off to Love Island.

And they didn’t look intent on hiding their fling from anyone, being pictured sharing a passionate kiss in the middle of the street as they celebrated the sunny bank holiday weekend together.

‘Dani and Sammi were drinking and having a great time, and made no secret of being back together,’ an insider told The Sun.

‘They were together for about a year, but she never really got over him and they got back in touch quite quickly once she split from Jack.’

Jack and Dani delighted fans after appearing on Love Island last year, and took home the whopping £50,000 prize money as well as the love of the nation.

However, it wasn’t meant to be and they announced their relationship had come to an end, earlier this month.

At the time, Jack was adamant the pair were on ‘good terms’ following the split – apart from unfollowing each other on social media, that is.

‘Honestly, I will always have a lot of love for her and we are on good terms, but it’s life, it just didn’t work out, I wish her all the best,’ he said during a chat on Good Morning Britain.

‘There are a lot of feelings there because we’ve been through a lot together but we are on good terms… I still fancy her, of course.’

Wes Nelson’s pal also slammed claims their romance was ‘never for show’ because he doesn’t have the heart for it’, adding: ‘I just want her to be happy.’

And, following the news, Dani explained she was ‘doing okay’ and would always be friends with her ex.
