J. K. Rowling reveals that four brand new Harry Potter short stories are coming out next month

Wands at the ready, Harry Potter aficionados! Over twenty years after JK Rowling’s first novel was published, the global Harry Potter franchise is giving the world a much-needed witchcraft fix with FOUR brand new stories set to be released next month – SO MAJOR.

The non-fiction short stories, published by Pottermore, will be exploring the “traditional folklore and magic at the heart of the series”, centering on lessons Harry and his gang studied at Hogwarts from Divination and Herbology to Defence Against the Dark Arts.

While J.K. Rowling is not involved, *sobs*, prepare to enter the Harry Potter universe once again with the bitesize e-books being adapted from the audiobook Harry Potter: A History of Magic.

All four stories have been illustrated by London-based artist, Rohan Daniel Eason.

The first two books, Harry Potter: A Journey Through Charms and Defence Against the Dark Arts and Harry Potter: A Journey Through Potions and Herbology will be released on 27 June. The third and fourth books – Harry Potter: A Journey Through Divination and Astronomy and Harry Potter: A Journey Through Care of Magical Creatures – are expected to be released shortly after.

*Re-reads all eight books in preparation*
