ITV Good Morning Britain: ‘Give us a break’ Ben Shephard probe irks Love Island contestant

In the wake of last night’s Love Island final which saw Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea claim victory, Good Morning Britain welcomed three Islanders onto the sofa.

Chris Taylor, Harley Brash and Anna Vakili, who were all dumped from the villa last week, chatted with the hosts about their experience.

Harley and Chris were coupled up in the villa and have continued their relationship since leaving.

Kate Garraway and Ben asked the pair how things had been going now they were out of the ITV2 show.

“We’ve had a good start haven’t we? We’ve got closer since we came out,” Chris shared.

Ben took things a step further as he questioned Harley on whether she thought there would be wedding bells for the two of them down the line.

“Wedding bells! Oh gosh,” Harley began.

“We’ve just met, give us a break!” Chris exclaimed, while Kate declared: “Whose side are you on!”

“It’s execrated in eight weeks, it’s at a million miles an hour. It’s like dog years isn’t it?” Ben asked in reference to how time passes whilst in the villa.

Richard Arnold went on to joke: “What are you looking at me for!”

Chris also spoke on how he often forgot the cameras were there during his stay in the house.

He admitted: “I’ve looked back and there was a lot of random stuff that I’ve done and if I remembered that I was on TV I’d think ‘oh maybe I wouldn’t have done that’.”

Kate and Ben also asked Anna what she thought the future might hold for her.

Just prior to her exit from the show, Anna had finished things with her boyfriend Jordan Hames so the pharmacist is now single.

She explained: “I’m just going to concentrate on work I don’t know if I’m ready to meet anyone now.

“It’s put me back a bit in terms of relationships.”

Ben went on to question if Anna would return to her work as a pharmacist.

To which she replied: “Well not for now but I don’t know, maybe in the future.”

“Have you got something you need treating?” Kate quipped to Ben.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
