It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for since the first pictures of the celeb pair emerged last October: Pete Davidson has referred to Kim Kardashian as his “girlfriend” publicly for the very first time.
The actor and comedian was chatting with Kay Adams, host of PEOPLE (The TV Show) about his partnership with Hellman’s Mayo (aka the dreamiest, yet most underrated partnership ever) for an upcoming Super Bowl advert, when he mentioned his ‘girlfriend’ while talking about life in the spotlight.
“Well, I don’t really have Instagram — I don’t have Instagram or Twitter or any of that stuff. So, most of my daily life is getting into cars and showing up to a set,” he said.
“Or, if I’m off, I just either hang with my friends or chill with my girlfriend inside. So I don’t do much.”
Noting that fans’ interest in his life has had virtually “zero” impact on his day-to-day, Davidson added: “Once in a while, someone will scream something at you, or it might be hard to get Dunkin’ Donuts. But other than that, it’s pretty fine. It’s not awful. It could be way worse.”
Yes, Pete, with Kim Kardashian as you girlfriend, things definitely could be worse.
Though E! News confirmed the fact that the pair were dating on 19th November, reporting that Kim is ‘completely enthralled’ with Pete and that the new couple are ‘really happy’, this is the first time that either Kim or Pete have mentioned it themselves — plus, dating is very different to offish relationship status.
Last year, a source close to the 41-year-old KKW Beauty and Skims founder and the 28-year-old Saturday Night Live comedian, said: “They are really happy and seeing where it goes.”
“Pete has told her he doesn’t want to see anyone else,” they said, saying that Kim reportedly feels the same. “She is telling some people they aren’t super serious but she isn’t seeing anyone else… She’s trying to not make a big deal about it but is super into him.”
The source continued: “Kim is smitten over him and it’s very exciting to her,” adding that Kim feels “giddy”: “He makes her laugh the entire time they are together and she is completely enthralled by him.”
And it’s clear that those feelings between the pair have only continued to grow.

Rumours of Kim and Pete (Pim? Kete? Either way, you heard it here first) began circulating weeks beforehand though, after the pair were spotted holding hands on a rollercoaster and going for multiple dinner dates. Speculation was particularly rife in early November when Kim took Pete to mum Kris Jenner‘s Palm Springs home which the source describes as a ‘huge deal’. Everyone is ‘very happy’ for the new couple, the source added.
While Kim and Pete currently live on opposite sides of the States, the source said that “they are making the distance work and have plans to continue seeing each other.”
