It was only a matter of time before the Dwayne Johnson and Baby Yoda crossover happened

It’s happened

In some visuals that may seem disturbing to some, the inevitable crossover between Baby Yoda and Dwayne Johnson has happened.

With a side cameo from Kevin Hart to really bring this thing home.

How on Earth do you put The Rock and Baby Yoda in a sentence, you ask – why, you have someone Photoshop Dwayne welcoming the Mandalorian character as his newborn.

Some fiendish Photoshopper took an image of Dwayne cradling little Tiana Gia, his daughter with wife Lauren Hashian, and replaced it with the tiny little rugrat known as Baby Yoda.

The tattooed action hero was getting his skin-to-skin contact with Baby, who was lovingly looking up at his proud papa.

It’s definitely a sight to behold.

Clearly the creature has also stolen Dwayne’s heart, as he wrote alongside the snap: ‘Thank you all so much for your well wishes, love & support ?
‘Can’t wait to bring this little nugget home to meet his brother @kevinhart4real.’

Oh yes indeed, there was even a dig at his good pal Kevin in there for good measure.

It comes as Baby Yoda takes over the Internet with a meme a minute popping up referencing its cute as a button scenes in the new Disney+ series.

Through all the Star Wars movies, from episode one right through to his death in Return of The Jedi, Yoda has been inching towards his 1000th birthday.

In the first TV spin-off, however, a baby resembling the ancient Jedi master is already the star of the show.

Sadly, The Mandalorian is set after Return of The Jedi and follows a bounty on a dodgy mission during the fall of The Empire and, in turn, the ‘baby Yoda’ – who is actually 50 years old – can’t be Luke’s ancient mentor.

Regardless, Star Wars fans haven’t gone this wild since Yoda’s epic battle scenes from Attack of The Clones.

Despite being one of the most important characters throughout the Star Wars franchise, we know next to nothing about Yoda’s species.

The only other creature resembling the little oracle was Yaddle, who popped up in the prequel trilogy. Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait until Disney+ launches in the UK in March 2020 before we can watch The Mandalorian.

The Mandalorian continues next Tuesday on Disney+.
