Van Gogh Alive: The Experience is an interactive art exhibit that’s been travelling around the globe since 2011.
70 cities have already hosted the experience, which brings Dutch painter Vincent Van Gogh’s Sunflowers, Cherry Blossoms, self-portraits and swirling landscapes to life.
Over the course of around 45 minutes, visitors will be awed by giant screens of Van Gogh’s post-impressionist work, alongside moving music, in what has been described as a multi-sensory event.

Can you still see Van Gogh Alive in London?
Yes, you’ve still got a smidge of time left to see the exhibit in the UK capital.
Right now, Van Gogh Alive is on at Kensington Gardens, located in a purpose-built venue.
However, its run ends on September 26, and it won’t be back anytime soon as far as we know.
Get a move on if you want to see it – especially as you need to book tickets in advance to go.
There are still some left (at the time of writing), but get them directly from the official website to avoid disappointment. Prices start from £14 per ticket.
Previously, the exhibit spent summer 2021 in the city of Birmingham, for a seven-week run.
Where is the Van Gogh Alive exhibit going next in the UK?
Though Van Gogh Alive started in Singapore and has travelled to Australia, the US, Mexico, China, Russia and all around Europe – we do get to see it in the UK for a while longer.
It’s heading up north to the city of Salford, Greater Manchester, as the next stop on the tour schedule.
The Piazza at MediaCity UK, Salford Quays, is the location of choice – and it will run from October 22, 2021 to January 23, 2022.
