Britain’s favourite painfully awkward news presenter returned for another new series earlier this year in the form of This Time with Alan Partridge.
Indeed, with critical acclaim coming at it from all sides, fans have been left wondering whether or not there’s any possibility of a second season of This Time with Alan Partridge.

Will there be a second series of This Time with Alan Partridge?
There’s been no official word yet as to whether or not there will be a second season.
However, in an interview with Metro.co.uk, Susannah Fielding, who plays Alan’s co-star Jennie Gresham on This Time with Alan Partridge, said on the possibility of there being another season: ‘I hope so I think it’s a case of the response and the response has been fantastic and I’m sure there’s plenty more material so fingers crossed.
‘It would be great to do another one and I’m sure they can come up with more great topics that are on point and other bits they’ve already got in the bag that they’re thinking about. Watch this space…’
The first six-part series showed the unfortunate Alan (played by Steve Coogan) return to the BBC nearly 25 years after the first time Partridge ‘hosted’ a programme for the broadcaster – Knowing Me Knowing You with Alan Partridge.
In the BBC’s words, This Time with Alan Partridge has been: ‘a heady mix of consumer affairs, current affairs, viewer interaction, highbrow interview and lightweight froth; very much the sweet spots for a man whose CV boasts over two decades of weekday local radio.’
