Believe it or not, there are certain McDonald’s fast food restaurants that are open on Christmas Day making for a very happy meal indeed if Maccies is what you’re craving.

Is McDonald’s open on Christmas Day and Boxing Day?
Unlike many other restaurants and businesses, not all McDonald’s are closed on Christmas Day.
However, according to McDonald’s there are only a ‘handful’ actually open on December 25, so make sure you check if your local or nearest fast food restaurant is open before you go.
The same applies for Boxing Day, although many more McDonald’s will be open and trading normal hours – but it’s worth checking before you head out in search of a Chicken Legend.
McDonald’s say: ‘Only a handful of McDonald’s restaurants open on Christmas Day, please refer to the restaurant locator to confirm if your local restaurant is open during the Christmas period and what times they are trading.’
