Julie Snook recently confirmed that she’s leaving Channel Nine behind for a new role as a Sky News presenter.
And now, more than two years after her ‘jacketgate’ scandal, the 31-year-old is reluctant to discuss the incident that made her a household name.
When asked about the infamous moment by The Daily Telegraph on Saturday, Julie declined to discuss it.

‘I’d like to leave that in the past, it is done and dusted I think,’ she said, opting not to go into further detail.
The sports presenter seems to be going to great lengths to distance herself from her past, having recently transformed her entire look from a bubbly blonde into a sophisticated brunette.
Gone are her long blonde locks, with the broadcast journalist now sporting a striking chestnut bob.
The star also appears to have made over her wardrobe, swapping ladylike frocks for Hillary Clinton-inspired power suits.

Discussing her shock new look, Julie simply said that she ‘felt like a change’ as she moved into an ‘exciting new chapter’ of her life.
Julie recently announced her new role as the co-host of the upcoming Sky News show, The Business of Sport.
Working alongside ousted Today show sports presenter Tim Gilbert, the pair will ‘bring together the people, brands, teams and ideas that are shaping and advancing the sporting industry on a global scale.’

The TV journalist shot to fame in early 2017 when footage showing Channel Nine newsreader Amber Sherlock berating her for wearing a white jacket was leaked online.
The footage showed Amber demanding Julie put on a jacket so the two could avoid both wearing white on TV at the same time.
Speaking to her producer, Amber said: ‘I need Julie to put a jacket on because we’re all in white. I asked her before we came on… Julie you need to put a jacket on.’

Julie fought back saying she hadn’t had time to change, but Amber refused to back down, snapping back: ‘Come on, I told you two hours ago.’
The sports presenter later appeared on air wearing a black jacket, and was the object of much public sympathy when the footage went viral.
