It was business as usual in the run-up to Christmas Eve, with Aldi shops open between 8am to 10pm Monday to Friday.

After this things changed slightly, so we’ve spelled out the opening hours for a majority of Aldi’s 830 stores below.

And Aldi is going all out to give their staff an extra rest – so make sure you check those all-important times.

What are Aldi’s opening hours between Christmas and New Year?

Once Christmas was over and done with, Aldi opened its doors again on December 27.

  • Friday, December 27 – open 8am to 8pm
  • Saturday, December 28 – open 8am to 8pm
  • Sunday, December 29 – open 10am to 4pm
  • Monday, December 30 – open 8am to 8pm
  • Tuesday, December 31 (New Year’s Eve) – 8am to 6pm

Is Aldi open on New Year’s Day?

Sadly for Aldi shoppers, the discounter is closing its stores once again on New Year’s Day – January 1.

But it’ll then open its doors on January 2, welcoming shoppers between 8am to 10pm.
