Iron Man’s Final MCU Suit Is Making Its Way to Marvel’s Avengers

Iron Man’s final Marvel Cinematic Universe costume (at least chronologically) is headed to the in-game marketplace of Marvel’s Avengers. Wielding his Iron Gauntlet on his right arm, the so-called Snap outfit is the last thing Thanos saw before the fitting conclusion of Avengers: Endgame. And starting tomorrow, players can wear that suit while taking on AIM forces in Square Enix’s superhero combat simulator.

Like all the other brand-new MCU costumes, Iron Man’s Snap outfit will likely be priced at 1,400 Credits. That’s around $14 in real-world money, although the suit may eventually be on sale for up to half of that if past events are any indication.

This isn’t the only Iron Man suit from Avengers: Endgame that’s currently in Marvel’s Avengers. Crystal Dynamics added the pristine version of the suit that he wears for most of the film back in May 2021. The Snap variant is cloaked in shadow in the above picture, but it has some battle damage and lacks a helmet in addition to the aforementioned Iron Gauntlet. It was also leaked through a datamine in June from popular Avengers leaker Miller, which gives a better (if unofficial) look at the suit.

Marvel’s Avengers recently celebrated the release of the latest MCU blockbuster, Thor: Love and Thunder, by adding Jane Foster to the playable roster. The Mighty Thor has already seen a few gameplay updates, but she retains the ability to smash her foes with a mystical hammer on par with her counterpart, Thor Odinson.

While it may seem like Marvel’s Avengers might be close to running out of MCU tie-ins at this point as far as costumes go, that may change when the game expands the cast in the coming months. A host on a recent Xbox stream recently slipped up and talked about She-Hulk’s inclusion in the game, which corroborated an earlier report about her from December. Other rumors and leaks about Captain Marvel and Bucky Barnes also persist, meaning plenty of new stuff is coming down the superhero pipe from developer Crystal Dynamics.
