As last night’s Apple event very much focused on the new hardware, there wasn’t much chat about the next iPhone software, iOS 13.
That means the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, iPhone X, as well as last year’s devices, will all get the new software.
However, if you have an iPhone 6, iPhone 5S or below, you will no longer be in line for new iOS updates.
This also means the devices will eventually stop receiving security updates and apps will stop working – though not for a few years.
