Introducing Social Distancing Safari

The good weather seems like a cruel taunt, doesn’t it?

Even if the lockdown ends next week we still would have spent three gloriously sunny bank holiday weekends indoors.

These measures are essential, sure. But we can’t help but let our minds drift onto all of the activities we would have been doing if 2020 wasn’t the year from hell.

The beach? Maybe. Tins in the park? Abso-bloody-lutely. A trip to the nearest zoo/safari park? Now there’s an idea.

Whether you are a family looking for a fun and educational day out, or a big kid wanting to see some cool and cute animals, we all love a chance to go out and see some exotic animals!

So Metro.co.uk has teamed up with Paradise Wildlife Park to bring you exclusive, up-close content straight from the lion’s mouth.

Every Thursday at 11am you will be able to meet the park’s different animals on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and here on-site.

Each session will be lead by the park’s keepers to give you unrivaled access and information.

Which animals are we meeting?

  • Bird of Prey
  • Amur Leopards
  • Snow Leopards
  • Meerkats
  • White Lions
  • Otters
  • Tigers
  • Penguins
  • The UK’s largest green anaconda
  • Red Pandas
  • Tapirs

At the end of all of our exciting, exclusive close-up encounters with the animals of Paradise Wildlife Park we will be sitting down with the keepers to ask them your questions.

Keep your eyes and ears peeled as we will soon be putting out a call for your questions.

If you have a burning question about the life and work of a zookeeper or want to know more information about these beautiful animals, you just might get to ask it.
