Inside the biggest water park in the WORLD – where temperatures are 30C all year round

FAMILIES wanting to entertain the kids all day long can head to the biggest water park in the world – and it’s found in Europe.

Tropical Islands is an enormous holiday resort located about an hour’s drive south of Berlin.

The biggest water park in the world can be found in Gemany.

Inside the resort is Tropical World – a huge indoor water attraction.

The temperature stays at a balmy 26C, temperatures which Brits enjoyed earlier this week.

There are two sections – Tropical Sea and the Lagoon.

The Tropical Sea has an artificial coastline – and a sea three times the size of an Olympic swimming pool – with a sandy beach with sun loungers.

Brits who want to get a tan can still do so in the dome, thanks to the “UV-transparent film” that covers the south side roof, with temperatures at 28C.

The Lagoon is even warmer, at 32C, with water slides, whirlpools and a mini waterfall.

The lagoon also has the largest indoor rainforest in the world with 50,000 plants and exotic animals including turtles and flamingos.

If you fancy a view from above, you can also book one of the Tropical Islands free-floating balloon, which floats 15m in the air.

Also on-site is an 18-hole mini golf, amusement arcade and bumper cars, along with five restaurants and a range of cafes and bars.

Stretching across 10,000 m² is also the Sauna & Spa complex, while there is an outdoor area for better weather too.

Amazonia, open all year round, has swimming pools, sports facilities including volleyball and beach football, and a whitewater river in the 35,000sqm section.

It also includes the new surf simulator, Pororoca.

The water park reopened on June 12, with day tickets starting from €57 on Sundays.
