The iconic Sir Elton John has joined countless celebrities staying home in self-isolation amid growing concerns over the coronavirus pandemic.
Unlike most regular folk, Elton had a choice of which estate he wanted to avoid the virus in, and opted for his Los Angeles mansion along with husband David Furnish and their sons Zachary, nine, and Elijah, seven.
The Rocketman and his producer husband David snapped up their California pad for a hefty £6 million back in 2012.
Taking to Instagram amid the outbreak, Elton gave his fans a glimpse inside their home as he shared his thoughts on the health crisis.

Sitting in his plush kitchen, the singer held up a piece of paper which read: “#IStayHomeFor David Furnish, Zachary and Elijah.”
It came in response to an online craze where people are saying who they are self-isolating for to encourage others to do the same.
Captioning the post, Elton wrote: “Thank-you @kevinbacon for the nomination!! #IStayHomeFor @davidfurnish and our boys.
“Today it’s snakes, ladders and staying inside to stop the spread of coronavirus. Who are you staying home for?
“Please post your own #IStayHomeFor photo with a sign like mine and tag six of your friends asking them to do the same.”

And we bet that staying inside his swanky mansion doesn’t feel like self-isolation at all.
The pad is complete with the latest and greatest gadgets with everything from priceless artwork pieces to a home cinema to keep them entertained.
Elton’s crib also features a massive dining room that boasts custom made baroque chairs and a selection of decorative unique glass vases.
The room is so big that large white plinths can be seen holding up the luxurious ceilings as abstract art adds a flavour to the decor.

The pad also features a massive swimming pool that overlooks Los Angeles.
The pool is surrounded by perfectly-cut grass in case Zachary and Elijah feel like rolling around outside.
And the house’s kitchen comes complete with fitted white cupboards as well as a luxurious cooking island.
Being the art collectors that they are, Elton and David have adorned their kitchen with more abstract pieces from their vast collection.
In one picture, their kitchen shows a huge CCTV screen set up to ensure the best possible security for their pad.
And it wouldn’t be an A-list mansion without its own cinema for movie nights.
Forget movie nights on laptops, this cinema screen spans the height of one wall.
And the room even features a massive pool table – perfect for entertaining their A-lister guests.
