Inside Craig Ferguson's luxury Hollywood mansion as Scots comedian slashes price

Scots comedian Craig Ferguson has slashed the price of his Hollywood mansion for the fourth time in a bid to find a buyer.

The ex-US chat show host has been trying to flog his sprawling estate in the hills above Los Angeles after moving back to Scotland.

The comic quit Hollywood for Glasgow after becoming bored with the showbusiness lifestyle and has confessed he loves being in his homeland as hardly anyone recognises him.

Ferguson, 58, put his LA property, which includes a four-bedroom home, guest cottages, a recording studio and library, on the market for £4.8million last January.

However, he struggled to find a buyer and after four price cuts, it has been advertised for sale at £3.4million.

The former Late Late Show anchor could still make a profit on the house as he and his third wife Megan Wallace Cunningham bought it for £3.2million in 2012.

Built in 1904, the property boasts views of downtown LA as well as the surrounding canyon from its terraces.

It also has a gym, swimming pool, playground, a dog run, and has eight bedrooms and nine bathrooms.

Ferguson, originally from Cumbernauld, became a massive star in the States as host of The Late Late Show, earning a reported £8million a year.
