Inside Brooklyn Beckham's lavish 21st birthday meal

His famous family have been documenting his milestone birthday to Instagram.

And Brooklyn Beckham made sure he celebrated his 21st birthday in style on Wednesday night as he enjoyed his own pop-up dining experience with Wagyumafia chef Hisato Hamada in London.

The aspiring photographer was joined by his mother Victoria, father David, girlfriend Nicola Peltz and siblings – Romeo, 17, Cruise, 15, and Harper, eight for the lavish meal.

The Beckhams were treated to an eleven course meal cooked in front of them by the Wagyumafia team, which included the chef’s eye-watering £140 Wagyu steak sandwiches and a caviar covered sushi basket. 

Wagyumafia have held several pop-up public events in London recently, with the latest taking place at Fortnum & Mason’s The Royal Exchange on Tuesday night.   

During the family meal, Brooklyn’s younger sister Harper, eight, stole the night in a ‘chic’ white trouser suit with a pair of black Dr. Martens. 

Taking to Instagram, Victoria shared a snap of her youngest child, which she captioned: ‘The chicest guest tonight… Harper Seven.’

The proud mother also shared a photo of birthday boy Brooklyn blowing out a collection of candles on a two-tier red velvet birthday cake. 

Meanwhile, Brooklyn’s girlfriend Nicola, 25, shared her own gushing updates about her boyfriend as she posted several loved-up updates. 

In one video, the Bates Motel star could be seen giggling as Brooklyn wrapped his arm around her, she penned: ‘u make me the happiest girl.’

While a different photo saw the couple cosied up as they beamed to the camera, Nicola captioned it: ‘i love u so much @brooklynbeckham.’

Foodie father David made sure he documented the evening’s delicious eleven course meal as he shared several clips and photos. 

The first update showed the Wagyumafia team as they posed around a huge piece of Wagyu steak while David went on to tease Brooklyn’s birthday menu for the evening. 

The former footballer then shared a picture of the third course of the evening, a piece of smoked salmon with caviar, and a video of chef Hisato serving the family his £140 Wagyu ‘Katsu Sando’ sandwiches.  

The pricey sandwich features a thick slice of Wagyu beef chateaubriand, which is deep-fried with the restaurant’S special sauce and paired with two slices of toasted milk bread.

Next up was an update on the ninth course, called Big Wag – a play on McDonald’s Big Mac, it features a Wagyu steak burger covered in cheese in a bun with pickles. It is even wrapped in a replica McDonald’s wrapper with the ‘Big Wag’ branding on it. 

Watching it being cooked and served, David revealed: ‘She loves pickles…’ although he didn’t share whether it was Victoria, Harper or Nicola who is a fan of pickles.

The next course for the Beckham family was a huge caviar covered sushi basket decorated with a gold 21 candle and the final food item was a Wagyu ‘slurp like a boss’ ramen bowl.

In August 2018, the Beckhams enjoyed a meal in Sumba, Indonesia, by Wagyumafia chef Hisato Hamada after he jetted to the hotspot island to feed his famous fans for a dining experience they would never forget. 

In an interview with the South China Morning Post, published in January, Wagyumafia’s self-taught chef Hisato Hamada explained how his friendship with the Beckhams came to be.

He said: ‘One day Jack Dorsey [co-founder and chief executive of] Twitter came in and we got along really well. He introduced me to Marcelo Claure, former chief executive of Sprint, who owns the Inter Miami soccer team with David Beckham.

Wagyumafia has catered to the tastes of well-heeled crowds since its inception. 

Founded by self-taught chef and wagyu expert Hisato Hamada and entrepreneur Takafumi Horie, the pair initially started off in beef export, preferring Japanese beef to the hormone-fed meats commonly found in the US.

Their business soon transitioned into a series of dinner pop-ups, with wagyu beef being the constant centrepiece. They subsequently launched their first members-only restaurant, the Wagyumafia Progressive Kaiseki, in Tokyo in 2016. 

The Wagyumafia brand operates seven restaurants in total, three of which are members-only eateries in Tokyo. In 2018, they opened their first overseas restaurant in Hong Kong, and are set to unveil another in Manila

The lavish dinner comes after Brooklyn enjoyed a  lunch at Oswald’s private members club in London on Wednesday.

During his birthday dinner Brooklyn, 21, was treated to a huge plate of glazed doughnuts covered in candles, which was seemingly a replacement for a cake.

Following the intimate event, which also included Brooklyn’s actress girlfriend Nicola Peltz, 25, Victoria and David were seen heading back to their car.

Brooklyn proved to be every inch the gentleman as he escorted Nicola out of the building by holding a large black umbrella over her head.

The photographer looked smart in a two-piece black suit, which he gave a more casual edge by teaming it with a simple white T-shirt underneath.

During the meal Nicola shared a sweet snap of the couple looking cosy at the table, which she captioned: ‘All about u on this special day [heart emoji]’.

Cringe! Brooklyn looked sheepish as he was presented with a plate of doughnuts

Brooklyn was treated to a selection of gifts by his parents on the day, which were beautifully wrapped in personalised gift wrap with his face on.

The star shared a snap of the gifts with the caption: ‘Love you mum and dad.’

The occasion appeared to be an emotional day for parents Victoria and David, who both shared loving tributes to each other to celebrate the day.

David appeared to have sent his wife some flowers with a message which read ’21 years today, love you so much’, which Victoria replied to saying ‘I love u too’.

Many of Brooklyn’s loved ones shared tributes to Brooklyn on the day, including his girlfriend Nicola. 

Nicola shared two romantic snaps of the pair in which she wished ‘love of my life’ Brooklyn a happy birthday. 

The model, 25, took to the photo sharing site on Wednesday to mark the occasion with snaps of her and her boyfriend, who she has only been dating since October.

She captioned her post: ‘Happy birthday to the love of my life. You have the most beautiful heart I’ve ever known.’

This follows a slew of tributes from the rest of Brooklyn’s nearest and dearest, including parents Victoria and David, who shared heartfelt messages to their eldest son.

David, then an emerging football superstar for Manchester United, sported his iconic blonde curtain hairstyle and a white vest as he proudly held his cherubic newborn, who wore a hospital tag on his left ankle. 

The fashion designer wrote: ’21 years ago today the most beautiful soul came into the world and changed our lives forever.

‘Sensitive, sweet, kind and funny, you are our everything. I love you so much. Happy birthday.’

Former England captain David also posted a sweet throwback snap of Brooklyn as a young child on holiday wearing a swimming cap and cracking a huge smile, as he waxed lyrical about his eldest.

He wrote: ‘Happy birthday Brooklyn can’t believe your 21!! Hope you have an amazing day love you.’ 

On the eve of his birthday, Brooklyn cooked dinner for his new girlfriend Nicola Peltz, 25, with the actress sharing a video of the star chopping some peppers.

Showing the depth of her feelings for her boyfriend of four months, she captioned the video ‘Love u.’
