She starred on the 2014 season of Big Brother, and extended her 15 minutes by becoming a social media influencer.   

And in a candid post penned for The Daily Telegraph on Friday, Lisa Clark admitted she feels ’empty and completely helpless’ when her phone battery runs out.

Diagnosing herself as having ‘low-battery anxiety’, the 34-year-old said the sight of red bars makes her go into meltdown.

‘It turns out I am sick. I am really sick. The sight of red spirals my body out of control. I feel panicked and annoyed and am kicking myself for not preventing it.’ 

The Penrith native admitted that when her phone dies she feels ’empty and completely helpless’. 

‘I know I am not the only one. We’ve all been there. When our phone starts to die, we get weird,’ she said.   

Lisa went on to explain how portable chargers and spare phones, especially when your job is to influence people, simply doesn’t cut it.

The blonde purchased a new phone – a Motorola moto g7 – offering several days worth of battery.   

Before hitting it big on Big Brother, Lisa worked at General Pants as a PR assistant and managed a strip club.

The Instagram personality has come a long way since those days, and now advises others on how to achieve the perfect career.

In 2017, Lisa penned a feature on career tips for WordPress blog Skills Road.

‘Let’s be honest, we all have those days when we feel like we live to work, bills pile in, most of us live well beyond our means and the fear of leaving something stable to chase a passion can all be a little daunting,’ she wrote. 

‘You need to think about what makes you tick, what motivates you and the types of environments you excel in and then do everything you can to get into the industry you so desire.’

Lisa then offered tips for changing one’s career, including ‘leverage social media’ and ‘just do it.’
