Love Island 2019 contestant India Reynolds arrived on Love Island earlier this week and she has already found herself getting close to basketball player Ovie Soko. In her first few days, the 28-year-old from Reading has also been flirting with Chris Taylor and will have to decide who to couple up with in tonight’s (July 18) episode. Who has India Reynolds dated before Love Island?
India Reynolds is a 28-year-old glamour model and vegan chef from Reading.
The new contestant has kept pretty quiet about her dating history so far on the show.
India revealed in her interview with ITV2 before entering the villa that she has been single for a year.
Her Instagram does not feature any loved-up photos of her with previous partners but mainly shows images of her travelling around the world.
While she’s kept quiet about her ex-boyfriends, the 28-year-old did reveal that she has had some disastrous dates in the past.
She said: “I went on a date with a guy once and the next day he told me that his ex-girlfriend had paid a private investigator to follow him and watch us on the date.
“He showed me pictures and videos of us at dinner and leaving the restaurant. I didn’t see him again.”
In her pre-entrance interview with ITV, India also revealed that she prefers to find dates when she is out and about.
“I feel like guys don’t come up to girls anymore, they’d rather wait and slide into your DMs later,” she lamented.
“I have done a little bit of online dating but it’s not been very successful so I’ve given up.”
Her ideal man is the American rapper Dave East and she admitted: “I don’t like when boys are cocky.
“You need to have a bit about you but I don’t like it when guys are rude and arrogant with it.”
India entered the villa with two other new Islanders Greg O’Shea and Harley Brash.
On her first day, she went on a date with Chris and he asked her to tell him about her past relationships.
She answered: “Basically a s*** show. I just want to meet someone nice, normal, that I can go on holiday with and have a good time.”
When asked what was wrong in her previous relationships, she added: “I just want someone who doesn’t cheat, funny and that’s it – I just want to have a good time.
“Someone I can party with but then tells me when it’s time to go home.”
From the conversation, it seems like India might have had some bad relationships in her past.
She confirmed this in her interview with ITV when she said: “I have been cheated on and I’m far too forgiving.
“I’ve taken people back in the past – bad move. I am loyal so I doubt I’ll have a wandering eye.”
Before she entered the villa, India made it clear that she had her eyes set on Ovie.
She is currently getting closer to her fellow Islander with the pair having a breakfast date on last night’s (July 17) episode.
A teaser for tonight’s episode of Love Island shows the pair sharing a kiss under the full moon in the villa.
There will also be a recoupling at the end of the episode where the girls will decide which boy they want to couple up with.
