A WOMAN has lifted the lid on life working as a nanny for a billionaire family and all the luxurious perks that came with the role.
Gemma, who posts under @gem.mariee, uploaded a series of videos giving an insight into the swanky world of elite nannying.
She wrote: “Things that altered my brain chemistry nannying for billionaires.”
The first perk was getting to drive their Range Rovers as they were the most “practical” cars they owned and having her food delivered to the house from Whole Foods.
Gemma also got to stay in some extravagant mansions and shared how one had a lift and a private cinema inside.
She added: “I wasn’t really allowed to take pictures/videos of the house but now I regret not taking more.”
Food times were also a surprise, and she shared how she once saw fillet mignon be served to the kids – only for it to be not to their liking.
She said the fancy meal was “thrown away” as they “changed their minds” about what they wanted.
Gemma was also shocked that her rich family also had a masseuse come to the house every single morning at 5am for two hours.
One of the parts of the jobs she found odd was the communication part of her role.
She explained she was “only allowed to talk to the mum if it was something super important about the kids”.
Otherwise she had to go to the house manager if she had any queries.
While she got to see how the elite one per cent live, some things did give the nanny the “ick” on the job.
She described one job with a billionaire family as “torture” due to her room situation.
She explained they wanted her to “live with them but my bedroom was a playroom with toys everywhere and I had to sleep on the couch.”
The nanny claims she also had to watch the kids 24/7 on the monitor which lead to her having a lack of sleep.
Despite any drawbacks, many people seemed keen to get into elite nannying.

Another added: “these people’s lives are deluded and insane omg.”
A third asked: “Why did you quitttt girl lol.”
In response to the comments, Gemma did provide some guidance for those looking to get into the role.
