I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here’s Roman Kemp isn’t afraid of a good name drop – or two, or three, or four.
The Capital Breakfast DJ had his campmates stunned when he belted out a quick tune, before reeling off stories about the likes of Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran, and Harry Styles.
With James Haskell saying he’d love to meet Ed Sheeran (wouldn’t we all?), Roman told him: ‘Ed doesn’t have a phone, you email him.’
After EastEnders’ Jacqueline Jossa questioned who he’s got as a contact on his phone, the 26-year-old, who’s clearly rubbed shoulders with the best of them, listed: ‘I’ve got Mr Styles, I’ve got your man JB.’
‘Bieb?’ Jacqueline asked, with Roman revealing he’s stayed at his house.
The whole thing caused the soap star to reflect on her life choices, as she explained in the Bush Telegraph: ‘Roman has got Justin Bieber [on his phone], the most famous person I’ve got in my phone book is Ian Beale from EastEnders and I thought that was a good one.’
Don’t you worry girl, he’s cool in our books.
Reminiscing on one of Biebs’ star-studded parties, Roman said: ‘There was a sectioned off area for about 10 people and all of a sudden I felt someone pulling on my shirt and it’s Mesut Ozil. I knew him because he used to host a lot of football stuff.
‘He came up to me and went “Roman, can you introduce me?” So I went over to Justin and said let me introduce you to a footballer he’s really good, plays for a team I like. And then Justin said to Mesut “he tells me you are the greatest,” and Mesut said “I like to think so.”
