Andrew Maxwell is the second campmate to be voted off I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2019.
The comedian lasted 16 days in the Australian jungle but was eliminated from the series by the public and follows Adele Roberts, who was the first star to be eliminated.
‘It’s been an absolute pleasure, thank you, thank you,’ Andrew told his co-stars.
Speaking with presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly after leaving, he admitted that the biggest thing he learnt was ‘patience’.
‘It was really hardcore,’ Andrew confessed. ‘It was an amazing experience.
‘You can’t speed it up. There’s nothing you can do. Those hours are going to be there.’
Ant and Dec also put Andrew on the spot about his feuds with Ian Wright.
‘I love that man. We are really similar,’ he admitted, before going on to add that they clashed because they’re both ‘family men’.
‘There was never even a moment of personal animosity. What’s not to love about the man?’ he asked. ‘It’s learning to live with other people.’
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! returns tomorrow at 9pm on ITV.
